My driveway is about a quarter mile.
Without 4WD or a VW van, I'd need chains just to get out the first 40 feet. I only got 5 or so inches on NY, which started just before I got home, and pretty well melted B4 noon. The most I've seen is about 2 feet, and the truck made it down the hill and back ok. (But, my son owned the truck then, and he does better in snow than I do).
My daughter will get thru school just fine. It's just , to me, it is more of a worry than Hg in tuna, or MCD, or BSE, or tetracycline, etc. Hell, I'm almost 60; so what if I get MCD at 80? I'm trying to get things done without help from my parents, or mother, as the case is. I figure one of us should get "rich" without inheriting it. I can tweak my bro that way.
So what's to eat? Flesh contaminated, commercial produce contaminated, and, even organic is cruelty to plants. Plants feel. How would you like to be a tomato and have somebody constantly pulling off your ovaries without anesthesia?
