And with respect to the "direct competition," we know that Zyomyx launched its systems last year and has shipped to Glaxo, Aventis, and Specialty Labs. The former two are CIPH customers, so perhaps they (and others) are comparing the systems and looking at which to buy more of. Other players offer systems, the major ones being BD Clontech and Perkin Elmer . . . zyomyx.com las.perkinelmer.com las.perkinelmer.com As well as a few others such as Arrayit. Not sure what's going on at Phylos. It would appear that CIPH's first mover advantage is dissipating, hence the need for movement on the diagnostics front. Cheers, Tuck
