So... why don't they just let all the caged civet cats go free (maybe tag them first) and let um catch all the rats.. then kill the cats? www1.chinadaily.com.cn Some info on civet cats. cbc.ca Just looking at my searches, I see several links by animal rights groups. I don't think it's the killing and eating of these animals, it's how they are treated while alive. A question that can be pointed at farming in general at the West too. The Mad Cow problem that occurred in Britain took a lot of solving in the political scene.
