Thread and Bill,
A caller said to Sean Hennity this afternoon that the left had forgotten 9/11 and that forgetfullness increases as we move away from the date. That prompts a fool like Dean to say, that he wont comment on bin laden because that belongs in the court. The man killed 3000 americans in an act of war and dean thinks of courts, appeals and chads.
I have a theory as to why many in the US have seemingly forgotten 9/11.
In israel every time there is a suicide bombing, press reports lets say 20 israelis killed and that is the equivalent of 2000 americans based on population.
In the US in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 3000 casualties were seen as 3000 casualties but as time moves on, we now view it like the Cole or Beirut or Somalia. And 3000 in israeli terms becomes 30--a rather small hit. My opinion is that bin laden may have picked up on this and that is why none of the suicide low tech attacks between 9/11 and the next big one. Of course my logic may preclude the big one. Movements like bin laden have plenty of time and we could really be in a quiet period as they concentrate on countries like turkey, saudi et al.
And the american left plays along as they seek to play on folks natural desire to stick their head in the sand. This coming election may be the most important of our lifetimes between a man who is prepared to lead americans against the evil enemya la churchill and those 9 guys who want to follow many americans into sticking their collective heads into the sand. Mike
PS if i were bin laden i would launder some money and get it over to dean real quick.
PPS Bush will win but right now there is a good chance that the dems will win in 08 and hopefully Hillary will not run on a dean platform.
