It might work, tell them the time, not the reason, and you might get in..
That reminds me of a funny story that a friend at my condo told me. She always had trouble sleeping, so would go to the work out room at odd times...3 in the morning..etc...
She turned on the tv, and it was on some dirty movie station, so she just started watching it...for the plot of course, not the nude men, anyhow..all of a sudden, the security guard burst in the work out room thinking something was amiss with the tv blasting at 3 in the morning..
She said he looked at her and then up to the tv set, just in time to see some guy in all his glory!!!!
ROFLOL she said she started stuttering, the channel was on and she hadn't chosen it, and was it too loud, and blah blah blah...she said she couldn't face the security guard after that...
