I'm sure Kerry and McCain have thought about it, but it's not realistic now until Kerry becomes the "comeback kid" in the first two primaries. Doesn't need to win just run strong second in both Iowa and NH. Once Gephardt, Lieberman and Edwards drop out we ought to see a real race. More likely for Kerry and Clark to team up though. But yeah, it would need to be be obvious which one's #1 and which one's #2. One thing's for sure, Clinton is going to have to do something else to try and stop Dean at some point. Now that Dean has Gore and Bradley, anything goes.
