"The author did say, though, that the predictions were remarkably consistent." The author failed to accurately state was that there were countless predictions that weren't even close to what actually transpired ET AL. Where are the overcrowded refugee camps? Where are the 500k slaughtered innocent civilians? Where is the massive humanitarian crisis? Where is the massive loss of life in month after month of street to street fighting for Baghdad? Where is the mass discontent & uprising of the Arab Street? Where is the massive increase in acts of terrorism? Etc., etc., ad nauseam...... The list of horrifically wrong predictions absolutely swamps the scant few that slightly resemble what actually transpired.
