Ray - Maybe it's time to throw in the towel and make the best of the situation. The Republican Guards have THE AGENDA and THE THEME that will CATCH FIRE and CAPTURE IMAGINATION. There is less than zilch nothingness from the donkeys except how they are smearing each other. Besides, this is one Bushwacko guy who can lie till his face is blue and his nose grows a mile long, and yet more than 50% of true blue coast-to-coast Americans believe in him.

Theme 1 - OWNERSHIP SOCIETY

"Early word about Bush's State of the Union speech has him setting an agenda that is very favorable for the stock market. Rumors have it that he will talk about an "ownership society" with emphasis on tax breaks directed at saving, investing, health insurance and job training. More importantly, he will propose some sort of private social security account, and probably pay
some lip service towards restraining the budget deficit.

Theme 2 - Blessed

``The Lord has just blessed him,'' Robertson said of Bush. ``I mean, he could make terrible mistakes and comes out of it. It doesn't make any difference what he does, good or bad, God picks him up because he's a man of prayer and God's blessing him.''

Theme 3 - Accept Destiny as it unfolds

Robertson also said that this year will be one of ``extraordinary prosperity'' and that God will bless China in 2004 ``in a way it's never known before.''

``God loves China and he loves the Chinese people,'' Robertson said. ``I believe there's going to be an unbelievable spiritual revival taking place in China this year.''
