well I watched the Tim Russert show this weekend and they seem to think Clark is a good bet to be Dean's running mate. Personally I think Dean will be the nominee because he has a tremendous presense on TV and in debates that the others don't have, including Clark. Clark is good, but doesn't have the fire that Dean does at least as far as what I have seen thus far.

The reasons the pundits think Clark will agree to be VP are,
- Clarks advisors are not denying it (even though Clark has said no VP- but what else can he say)
- some think the Clintons will put pressure on Clark to be a VP to shore up Deans lack of military experience
- Clark is not biting at Dean the way the other candidates esp Lieberman is. For example the ski trip during the vietnam war, Clark is letting that pass, Clark is choosing to back off the personal attacks on Dean

I have thought for a long while that a Dean/Clark ticket with either one president vs. VP was a winner and the best the dems have to offer this time around. At least it is a fair fight vis a vis Bush.
