Hi Grace,
If you do this for a living then of course it makes sense to not be giving anything away. OTOH I for one have garnered a vast amount of knowledge on these threads, especially SI that would have taken many many more years of trial and error without SI.. Just by being pointed in the right direction at times. I also know I have helped other folks make money (likely weighted in my favour still :o) It is also a great sounding board to validate one's opinions.

As far as pointing out stocks well some folks are lazy and want other folks to decide but they don't want to pay. If they're not taken in the market they'll be taken at the track or casino or bingo etc. etc.. You can't save the world (not terribly cute and cuddly Canadian of me but that's life). Along with good ideas to invest in I've frankly had stock basher's save me good money pointing out things I'd missed in stocks I'd owned.. and another trick goes in the bag... It's what he person does with the information that's critical..

As Bobby Z says.. Don't follow leaders, Watch the parkin' meters...

Before SI I was one of those buffaloes in my profile :o)

Maybe SI should put big disclaimer on the home page warning everyone to treat everyone as a scammer and verify everything for themselves.. They could really help develop an educated investing class that way :o)

regards
Kastel
