What I mean about the witness:
She didn't know Jovin well; only as someone she was taking a class with. When she spotted Jovin, Jovin was across the street from her, walking in the opposite direction. The witness evidently didn't wave or call out. She did, however, offer very detailed descriptions of two men, one supposedly walking in front of Jovin, the other behind her. Oh yes, and it was night.
All this strikes me as absurd. I've often walked right past people I know well, and in broad daylight, too. NO way would I ever remember what two unknown men, at that time of no conceivable interest to me, looked like.
Don't forget: this witness called the cops at two in the morning, in screaming hysterics, when she found out Jovin was dead. Sounds like an attention seeker to me.
So....if we eliminate that witness, does it change anything?
As for the van, I'm not sure an immediate investigation would have yielded much. Colors are very hard to distinguish in dim light. |
