"Bush did 9/11" is a wacky concept. And so is "Clinton let Osama go when he had an offer from Sudan". We all remember the wacky charge of the Bushies when they were moving into the WH, when they accused the Clinton folks of removing the "W" keys which was all bunk.

I do agree that it is a difficult balancing act to ensure societal security while at the same time ensuring that personal liberties and freedom are not trampled upon.

I'll be there with my UZI and habeas corpus when I find government rounding up "politicial enemies" in the name of security but we are no where near that at this point.

Let me know when that happens and I would be glad to join you. As Ray would say very unusual for yours truly who he accuses od being a "know-it-all" San Francisco liberal. I surely do not know if Bush perpetrated 9/11 or not and I do not want to since it is a ridiculous concept.
