A damning summary if ever there was one. One question remains - if in the soil sampling phase the consultants imply that it was wrong not to sort the rocks out before crushing and assaying..

and any 'rocks' in this environment would be quartz fragments, which logically would host the gold, since argillite (as a metamorphosed sedimentary rock) wouldn't...

then sorting the rocks out before crushing would also sort out the source of the gold...

then any resulting indication of gold in argillite or saprolite would be an indication of enrichment, which is not the point of bedrock sampling to begin with...

When you strip out the obvious invective from Mr. Mudry's summary of the news release (which I still have not seen), you're not left with much in the way of explanation.
