"Indeed, I believe that Our Lord Jesus Christ returned in 70 AD, just as He said He would................the Day of the LORD is PAST TENSE for believers."

I am very sorry to here that Rob.

"Brian and James are not denying anything about the return of Our Lord and the resurrection, the problem is that it HAS ALREADY taken place at 70 AD."

"THE PROBLEM" is that Christ said he would return physically and visibly. That did not happen.

"THE PROBLEM" is that "In Him (Jesus) all the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily" (Col 2:9) Christ still had His body at the time Col was written.

"THE PROBLEM" is that I have seen dead bodies that pre-date 70 A.D., but God's word says that all will be physically raised. The resurrection of Lazarus demonstrates that resurrection involves the physical raising of the body. (Jn 11:)
You have to twist scripture out of context to read a spiritual resurrection.

"Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation."(Jn 5:28-)

"THE PROBLEM" is that Polycarp who was a disciple of John did expected a future physical return of Christ and a future physical resurrection of his own body.

Both Scripture and Church history deny that the resurrection has already happened. You are ensnared in a serious heresy. May God grant you the grace to see your error. Brian thinks Jesus dropped His body at some point, Why? not because he has any scriptural indication of such but only to make a spiritual second coming fit the Hyper Preterist doctrine. James flat out denies that Christ was raised physically. I would be interested to here your view on Christ's resurrection.
