My local elementary school sent home a notice saying in effect that they had to spend their NCLB budget this year or lose it. They invented a position, Greek immersion teacher, and wanted to find students interested in doing something "fun and different". Three kids went into the program. The $100K budget was preserved.

Is that how you want your tax money spent?
