He must be desperate to get re-elected. Hopefully, patriotism will not overcome common sense in the 2004 election. We are proud of the troops but it's time to bring them home and find solutions for more pressing domestic problems. I don't really expect that to happen however, since waving the flag has always helped presidents who find themselves in trouble at home....more so than ever since 9/11.
