Who is the "ye" in this verse:

Matthew 24:44 Therefore be ye also ready;
for in an hour that ye think not the Son of man cometh.

I tell you in all good conscience and faith that the
"ye" in that verse aint "you" or anyone else alive today.

Jesus was talking "privately" to His "disciples"

It is that simple.
