Sonki, I do not sit down and and worry about evalutaions or when is the best time to buy a historically well managed company with good long term results of profitability and wealth to shareholder. If any company meets this criteria, then I just buy some shares in the company and let not the short term market retreat effect my long term focus. I only have one little quirck in this regard. If I buy a stock and the SOB falls immediately or the next day, I generally dump the stock so as to give fate the finger. Normally I will sit it out and wait for the cycle to come back in favor again. By your assesment are you dumping Dell or Microsoft?
