I do intend to answer the question you chose Shalom

I have thought long and hard about Xmas.

It was the celebration of Saturnalia in Rome at the winter
solstice.

The wine was ready - it was the darkest time of year and they
celebrated - slaves became masters - they had orgies - and 'partied til they puked'

You and I differ a lot Shalom - I fear God.

I am in no wise interested in idolatry.

Most men do not even study the subject.

Cain and Abel offered sacrifice to Christ.

They both tried to please God but only one did.

Most people don't even realize Cain was in fact expecting to please God.

I do not buy those things written in that post you pointed me to.

People for centuries have been trying to force Christ in December 25.

He was not born then - nor do I think you proved he was conceived then.

The bible itself spends next to no time speaking on the birth of Christ
but spends much upon the resurrection and crucifixion.

If biblical proportions mean anything then people should be
more zealous about 'easter' - another idolatrous invention of Rome.

Easter - named after a female god of pagan Rome.

Of this I can assure you Shalom - when men offer to God
that which is not commanded of God - they offer the offering
of Cain.

I for one will have no part in it.

Leviticus 10:1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron,
took either of them his censer, and put fire therein,
and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD,
which he commanded them not.

Numbers 3:4 And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD,
when they offered strange fire before the LORD,
in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children:
and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office
in the sight of Aaron their father.

Numbers 26:61 And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD.

God alone decrees the elements of His Worship and
God alone has the right and power to make any day holy.

Not Rome

Not Man.
