I want to out and out replace a singular 5.0 GB hard drive with a new 40 GB drive. There is no room for a second HD. Using Windows ME on the system. I have an HP Recovery disc and the original ME. Besides copying data, is there anything I should do before replacing the first HD with the second? Thanks. I really appreciate and admire the many generous sharings that occur on this thread.
