re: OTC drug sector in China On a related issue, Core-Pacific/Yamichi analyst Jeff Wong recently commented on the upcoming rise of the OTC/pharma sector in the Greater China region.. cpy.com.hk As often, it seems where traditional government services (hospital medication) is failing, the private sector (OTC pharma coupled with self-care) steps up to the plate and fills the void. He projects huge growth potential. IT seems in China, people used to go to the hospital for even minor indications. That is about to change now as he outlines. Most interestingly, my two PRC pharma/biotech portfolio picks (FE PHARMA 0399.HK, VITAL BIOTECH 1164.HK) already established a significant presence in the Chinese OTC market. that's the kind of news we need CROSSY
