It's also essential to have a candidate who can effectively 'fend off' the attacks that Karl Rove and his team of dirty tricksters will launch...The Bushies will do almost anything to maintain power and IMO Dean would be a dream candidate to run against....Clark would at least give the GOP a run for their money.
