Good morning Greg,

Thanks for your reply, glad you like the book, Chosen by God ".

I reject the Arminian view of predestination because they believe that God looks down through the corridors of time and sees the choices men will make about His Son.

This is 100 % rubbish and false.

Man is dead in his sin and cannot, and will not, choose God.
To say that Man can choose God violates the Scriptures.

Unbelieving Man is in the " flesh " and the scriptures declare that the " flesh is at enmity with God and that the " flesh can do no good thing.

How can Man do make the greatest choice know while in the " flesh ".................absurd to say the least

We are " born again " to choose God...............by His Sovereign mercy and Grace alone............it is that simple.

Regarding the resurrection, That occurred in 70AD, as Our Lord said it would, when he was talking to the people of His day.

Brian and James, and for that matter myself, are not denying the resurrection..........................it took place in 70AD.

The moment I " vacate " this body I now live in I will receive a new glorified body and will be forever with my Lord.

Scripture clearly teaches this fact.

May I suggest you read Brians post # 35977 and # 35978.
He explains very well the resurrection and I concur with him on this topic.

Trust this answers your questions Greg.

Grace and peace be unto you,

Robert
