Frank: But even the "Boss" side in you must recognize that telling employees (and investors) as it really is, and taking the bitter medicine is better than the chinese torture of having to apologize over the next two years for the $#$#@ up of someone else. Look at TRKN, they wrote UP inventory during an big acquisition (to limit the horrendous goodwill on the book) and every quarter since, they are taking a partial bath of writting these back down, the stock of course, is not taking it likely for the last year (well they have few other problems as well, but this is another issue). A "boss" with "Balls" gets the respect of the employees and investors, if he uses his communication skills to explain why the bitter medicine needs to be taken and now. But, as is usually the case, both you and I can put forward good arguments on both sides of this issue without getting cornuciated <VBG> by Razor. Zeev
