My girlfriend's brother is a Republican. He's NRA, pro-nuke, several issues where he's firmly in the GOP camp. But his comment I think will ring true in the next election: "I don't like this president and I'll never vote for him." Do I detect a post-'04 election comeback on the part of the Ripon Society?

The Ripon Society? What's that? Heck, most of those today waging war on America from the GOPwinger column don't even remember what that organization was. Perhaps some research is on order for some folks, eh?
