So what is the problem if he does use it for PR? Oh no...just another day in the life of the President, don a borrowed flight suit, hit a carrier at sea and thank the troops under a 50 foot by 6 foot banner saying "Mission Accomplished" positioned so that it backdrops the podium where he gave his "televised" speech.
