Favre in his press conference after the last game gave a little anecdote. The reporters were talking about the emotion and how far can that carry you. He said that back in high school, his Dad, who was the coach, read the team a rather uncomplementary letter that he had received supposedly from someone on the other team. Of course the letter basically called them all wusses, and they couldn't carry jock straps etc, etc.... Later on, Brett found out his Dad wrote the letter, but he said the thing was, that really fired up the team and they were ticked off. They went out and really went off on the other team the first play, and then he said you get that out of your system and it is back to X's and O's and execution. It is all about raw football, emotion can only carry you so far.
Asked if they won the game, his response. I don't know, I don't think so, but we won that first play!
Being a Packer's fan, I don't care for the sign cause I think it might fire up the Eagles a bit, but it is a smart coaching move. In the end, it will still come down to football.
