OT - Did Bush do something right? Immigration reform plan

William,
From your previous posts, I'm thinking you will not agree, but I'm thinking that this new idea that Bush had to reform immigration - creating a guest worker program, is not bad.
A good first start maybe.

Notice how he is getting criticism from the left, and the right in his own party on this.

Fact is though - we have maybe 10 million illegal workers here. We could not run our hotels, restaurants, and many other things without them. They are not leaving. Why not make them legal in a guest worker program - and have them pay taxes legally?

I think Bush made a good first start.

I have to give him a positive comment once in awhile, anyway LOL.
