China has absolute right and power to take Taiwan back, with or without force

I get nervous when people start asserting "absolute rights", especially when someone else's freedom is involved. Is this similar to the "absolute right" that China had to subjugate Tibet? What's next? Korea?

More calmly now, perhaps you can explain what gives China any right to forcibly subdue a people with whom they have been only peripherally involved? I'm aware that I'm espousing a view that is heresy on the Mainland, but that doesn't mean it's wrong. Vociferously asserting a right doesn't legitimize it. And bullying tactics can only delegitimize.

Again JMO, and I appreciate your views - even if I don't agree.
