Ann, it's that way in every state in america. The law is the same everywhere. No real company will hire an illegal immigrant. No funny biz going on just up north. People who hire illegals, pay them cash. No taxes, no healthcare no records. They won't hire any 'registered' undocumented immigrants for this very reason. This is a big scam to exert artificial downward wage pressure on americans by expanding the labor market. Big business is salivating at the opportunity to hire skilled labor at cheap prices and that's who is behind this. So the next big thing will be importing labor instead of offshoring it, with one big difference--there will be no barrier to the real cost, and the american taxpayer will have to subsidize their education and health. There are NO RULES that will fix this. ABSOLUTELY NONE.
