What is next? who knows? maybe someday, Mongolia returns? I read that Mongolia did have 3 times of vote in their Parliament, to rejoin China as a region, although none of them had passed. All these happened completely on voluntary basis, China has NO finger print on it. Although Russia and the US were pretty nervous about it, and I remembered after the latest round of vote, the US sent a Depute Secretary of State and a couple of million dollars of aid, and Russia also gave Mongolia $600,000 or so.

It would be nice to recover the Eastern Siberia that Russia has robbed from China in 19th century, although might be hard, if not impossible.

Korea? NO, it is an independent country. China had sent troops to Korea in old days, but those were at the invitation of then Korean gov.
