I'm beginning to like this "Update" too. My first reading didn't leave me impressed but I think you have the correct version of events and it's beginning to grow on me. Lots of little contracts (assuming they get "lots") can be very powerful on the bottom line.

I'd like to repeat what I said earlier about the market makers pulling the bid/ask prices. As of now, they are not posted. I know many of you can't tell that from your quote systems. If the market opens with this condition in the morning, any market order is at the complete mercy of the market makers. Be absolutely sure to use a limit order if you intend to buy in the morning. They want top dollar for any shares they sell to you and will make their adjustments after they see if any buying develops. If they have even a handful of buy orders at the open, they are going to jack the price way up and then it will settle down later. Buyers at the open will be hurt unless they post the prices.
