Does APCC plan a full fight? How might this affect future earnings? Amer Power Conversion: SL Indus Suit To Have No Fincl Impact WEST KINGSTON, R.I. (Dow Jones)--American Power Conversion Corp. (APCC) said SL Industries Inc.'s (SL) patent infringement suit will have no impact on its financial position. As reported yesterday, SL Industries sued American Power Conversion, seeking injunctive relief and monetary damages. In a press release Wednesday, American Power said it is reviewing the lawsuit and is planning to vigorously defend itself against it. American Power said the suit alleges that its Back-Ups Office uninterruptible power supply products infringes two SL Industries patents.
