It is only impossible to deport these people in your mind. It doesn't happen overnight. But if you stop the hiring, and start shipping them back in droves eventually you'll make a big enough dent that it won't make sense for them to come here.

We passed these damn laws here for a reason. It's time to enforce them and stop being a bunch of *sissies* and whining about how hard it is. Then when you wanna bitch about how a head of lettuce costs you 2 bucks, I'll listen.
What all of this pissing and moaning is missing is one key fact. Doing anything to upset the system right now is gonna play havoc on the wage equillibrium we've established in this country for many years. Nothing is broken here, changing the law ain't gonna fix it. Expecting business owners to *pay* more money for labor they're already breaking the law to exploit, WON'T EVER HAPPEN.
Furthermore, you talk about people paying the freight... Forget about non-market wages--that's just fantasy. You have to think about living wages(and don't for get the added taxes the employer has to pay!). These people have to be paid a living wage otherwise there is ZERO reason for them to be here unless they're gonna suck money out of your tax dollar. Nobody pays the freight now for our citizens overusing entitlements because they can't make a living wage, now you're thinking the same business owners who don't wanna fix workers compensation programs are somehow gonna cough up the dough? No Way.
