Coupla problems with your statement. Maybe I can help clear that up for you.

1) I do NOT believe that my soul is NOT me.

2) MY soul does not 'belong' to me. It is the essence that is eternally me.

3) My soul is not beyond experience it is simply not a physical entity.

4) Physical entities can come and go yet I persist. I can cut my finger off playing with my table saw, yet I persist. The finger is no longer part of me but the essential me (my soul) is completely in tact. Scientists tell me that the cells of my body are completely replaced every seven years or so. Yet I didn't get a new guy in the process. Same one that fell off the pony when I was four years old...(then got back on of course). There is overwhelming evidence to the existence of my soul and that it is not limited to or dependent on the existence of bio-cells. It is, however, a single case study that can not be validated except by the reports of others doing their own single case studies...which is replicated billions of times and in nearly universal agreement throughout time.
