Maybe it's because it's impossible to do the type of things that conspiracy kooks think happen in today's world.

The problem may lie with the clash of extreme Islam and the sheer number of believers to be manipulated by tyrants.

As for Europe - here's just one small example from today's world.

BBC suspends show after anti-Arab outburst

LONDON: The BBC yesterday suspended a popular daily talk show after its presenter wrote a newspaper article calling Arabs "suicide bombers, limb amputators, women repressors." Talk show host Robert Kilroy-Silk, a former parliamentarian with the ruling Labour Party, angered racial equality bodies with his column which asked whether Arab nations had contributed anything to civilisation.

The BBC said it would suspend his Kilroy talk show from Monday while it conducts an internal investigation into the article in the Sunday Express newspaper.

"The BBC strongly dissociates itself from the views expressed,'' the broadcaster said.

Kilroy-Silk was not available for comment.

Calling the article "indisputably stupid", Trevor Phillips, chairman of the publicly funded Commission for Racial Equality, said "... we are referring the article to the police to consider whether it might constitute an offence under the Public Order Act".
