Hey Tim,

You'll be interested in knowing that a local couple is suing Walmart. She claims they overstuffed one of their plastic bags & when she carried it from the car the bottom gave way & heavy items fell on her foot causing injuries.
Her husband is also named in the suit as losing his wife's attention while she recovered from injuries. It sounds like they are trying to take Walmart for over $30,000, probably hoping the company will settle out of court for that amount. Hope it goes to court & they are awarded far more that $30,000. Maybe we could put that leach-like WMT out of business--one lawsuit at a time:o)
Have you ever checked out the following website:
www.howamericanscanbuyamerican.com
All sorts of great buy America information including a book with lists of American owned Cos/products. Shopping in USA has become so complicated, we need published lists in order to support American-owned products rather than foreign items. Business Week recently stated that they expect a resurge in "Buy American" campaigns for 2004.
