Tone:
Last time I spoke with Len, they were VERY excited about carbonear, and its pot'l and were anxiously awating drill results. Well results are in, and the stock hasn't reacted. The last line on the release is in keeping with their philosophy "continuing to review to determine the next exploration activity". In other words (Bonnie, my apologies for the negative here, but just fact, the way I see it) we're not going anywhere for a while yet, but we will continue to continue to continue. I believe this part of the exploration will be a LONG drawn out affair, but I may be wrong. I would not realistically expect to see any real activity here until next year. Winter's coming to that part of the country. Hope I'm wrong.
With Mexico, (and agian, sorry for the neg) it was a conversation of all the excuses why not, and very little to do with getting the job done. I've got those out of my system before. It was also "any day now", for what it's worth. Supposedly press releases would be forthcoming when the were a) ready for production, b) producing, and c) the quality of the ore, and resulting assays. Well, I would pose that a) they are ready for production, b)forget it, and c)who knows.
Support: Len was to have made a big swing, on his last road trip, just before we spoke, to some BIG trading houses in the States. This was in conjunction with his trip to Mexico. He had some major U.S financiers to talk to. They were obviously impressed.......
They were to have also lined up a PR firm to promote the company, supposedly from the revenue generated in Mexico. Needless to say where we are on that. Beyond that, they were relying on the net (don't quote me on that one, but I seem to recall, their PR would be internet based).
Finlly, Len felt very confident of his support with a mythical U.S shareholder base, and that news WOULD move the stock, being so tightly held. Well, it appears, that via one of my rants, that the U.S shareholder base is long gone. If they are still here, they aren't visible in the market. As for the news, you be the judge.
There.......rational, factual info, just for Bonnie. But even when I'm rational, it still comes out negative. NOT bashing the stock......but them's the facts, and the market simply is not buying it.It has lost all confidence in the stock, and it appears that it will take the second coming (or Mexico, I'm not sure which will happen first!) to get the price up. I still can't believe that the company has not come here to set the record straight. I KNOW THEY WATCH THIS THREAD!
