I find it interesting how fans think their feelings, thoughts matter in sports. It's kinda comical in many ways.

The thoughts, feelings of fans don't matter in the least and have absolutely no bearing on any game's outcome. The fact is a fan doesn't have the mental framework of a world class athlete and is unable to think as they do.

Philly fans are an example but it's one of the constants in sports. Pick a city, sport, team. Fans think their feelings are part of the equation; in reality, they are truly meaningless.

I hear, "oh, the Eagles are afraid of the Packers" or "oh, the Packers are afraid of the Eagles". What tripe. Neither of these teams is "afraid" of anyone; they are men, this is their business, they know it better than any fan.

They don't fear anyone; you don't get to their level by not believing in yourself.
