Texas and Florida has no state income tax and California has second highest income tax (9.3%). But California almost broke, and was run by democrat of governor and legislatures. Maybe tax is not such a simple answer. US owns nearly 50% of world's wealth, Canada and the whole world certainly will benefit if US has strong economy.
