Infrastructure is an area I am involved in. We have increased productivity significantly. We are going to do more this year again. Bigger equipment, faster work cycles... Lobbyists are pushing for more taxes to fund this work instead of managing waste to free up funds already being taxed. Our infrastructure condition costs all of us additional hidden costs, I certainly agree with you that more should be spent on the infrastructure, but I am biased...(s) It is difficult to want to see tax dollare waste reduced, and the personal want to increase profitabilty through additional taxes being spent in my sector. But right is right.
