In fact Repubs former firm stance on law&order was major reason I started voting for them. However, they have joined Dems in ignoring illegal laws due to their core members desire for slave-wage labor from Mexico. Which makes them hypocrits since the Dems have always been above-board when it came to their welcoming attitde towards Spanish--legal or illegal.
