Let's assume that the majority has your attitude and decides we will not tolerate any more illegals in this country as of January 10, 2004....How do you propose to stop it?......Build a wall?...Mine fields as far as the eye can see?....Jail everybody that ever hired an illegal despite papers that may be forged?

As long as people are willing to take the chance of dying to get in this country, measures to keep them out will have to be one hell of a lot more drastic than most of us have the stomach for....Immigration is one of those problems that is a lot easier to complain about than fix.
