Corrupt leadership and lack of institutional human and property rights aimed at unleashing human ingenuity..

I already said that those societies are so corrupt and unethical that we here in the US do not even know what that is since our politicians are not that unethical, even though we blame our politicians fro what they do.

So we should just believe them when they say they have complied with the law?

No we should understand their ways and adjust our approach accordingly similar to all the Presidents before GWB have done. We as Americans require the Bush team in Washington to do better than being just trigger happy. That is my read.

Qaddafi seems to finally realize

We have not found anything in Libya as wet, have we? All he has said is to invite teams in to search. Shouldn't we have learnt from our experience in Iraq and not hurry to conclusions? For all we know it may be a wild goose chase in Libya too. I agree they may also find WMDs there. But you insinuate that Qadaffi agreeing to inspection is a success of Bush policy. I disagree since my definition of success is when we find and destroy WMD.

Hawk, I would request you to give my postr a little bit more attention than you have done both here at at your thread. Please reread. I said that is Saddam's view of victory, "however convoluted that may sound to you and me" So it is not my view. It is the view of the Saddamites in those parts of the world.

And that's why Saddam attempted to assassinate GWB Sr..
what has that got to do with tribal rivalry.
