Temperature looks fine.

All the stuff I looked at says Athlons aka year 2001 do not slow down either by on chip heat diode or MB sensor (as opposed to Pentiums).

Therefore I conclude it must be a software glitch that changed your special motherboards jumperless "jumper" that sets frequency.

Proceed with caution. Consider leaving it "as is" until a real expert confirms what to do.

not sure if your MB is the RAID version (whatever that is) but the picture of the BIOS screen shows the processor frequency (speed selection)
