I'm truly sorry that you feel embarrassed by having US forces fighting and dying in the attempt to create some kind of positive change in Iraq.

Yes Hawk, I think you and I have connected on this one. Iraq is not where we should be. Instead we should concentrate on fighting terror as personified by the Al Qaeda members. We want to do away with cancelling International flights, we want to do away with raising alert levels etc. etc.

Iraw is a war for human rights and I am not ashamed for US involvement in that area. But not when we are facing a much larger problem of a "war against terrorism"

It's like my dad used to tell me.. "If you don't our family, then you're always free to find another one who will take you in... Until then.. you follow my rules".

Many of us are familiar with that scenario as it happens in many families. But do you seriously believe that this approach is also applicable to the citizens of a country who unlike growing children in a family are grown up adults.

And lastly you asked only 1 question which I will take care to answer and your question is:
They are all Bush's fault, right?

No it is not Bush's fault. Bush wants the war on terrorism overseas (he said "better in the streets of Baghdad than in the streets of US", even though Baghdad is not the only overseas place it needs to be fought). Clinton on the other hand made sure that the war was fought overseas without signiicant impact to the US economy etc. He did all he could to ensure that foreign terrorism did not cross into the US. And he could do so IMO because he had the support of the world community and their intelligence agencies.
