What gutless wonders we have for politicians, whatever happened to the canadian spine that was so capable against Hitler, the Kaiser, the invaders of 1812? - Yes. I know. Our politicians sound too freaking nice these days. I was thinking about this the other day. We Canadians are just too damned polite. It is giving the wrong impression. Like, take this excerpt from that article you linked to: Asked if he believed the U.S. offer was final, Peterson said: "Until they tell me that, no, I won't believe that." What a frigging wuss. We need to end this "nice" crap -- both politically, and in public as well. Next, I think we need to round up some politicians with strong spines and sharp tongues.... At the same time, we should send Paul Celucci packing back to where he belongs.
