Hi Jay, the best Mogambo guru can offer right now. ---- - Harry Chernoff, writing at the Prudent Bear website, has penned an interesting essay entitled, "The Ministry of Finance Has A Message For You." It seems that the Japanese, acting like the profligate morons that they are, are issuing so many yen to prevent the US dollar from depreciating against the yen that the sheer weight of it is causing the Earth to wobble in its orbit around the sun. How many yen? Mr. Chernoff writes, "In round numbers it is about equal to next year’s (American) Federal budget deficit, next year’s state budget deficits (all 50 states), and next year’s current account deficit, combined -- with enough left over for the pension plans of every hard-pressed steel and automobile manufacturer in the country." Now that's a lot of money, and is probably more than most of us make in a whole month! Maybe even a year! --- investmentrarities.com
