The problem (percieved or real) is in my case, not the lack of leadership, but rather complete lack of political history and culture (homo politicus). My family (father) was politically neutralized / neutered in 1945, and twenty years of political monoculture achieved the rest. It's pretty much mutatis mutandis along the lines of what French term "catholique non-pratiquant": I have a political opinion, but have not voted for years. etc.

Maybe that's where I should start, in My Own Backyard (g). Learn more about my own freedom (see Kant/enlightment) and act.

And re leadership, what about Aung San Suu Kyi? And Dalay Lama as VP?
