My statement is generally accurate,but it was Regan's hard line that saw the eventual undoing of the Union.I give him credit for that, however, a huge number of people in the former Union wish it had never happened, and the US is no safer today with that entity removed than it was at that time.Russia is a formidable power.Don't piss them off.
